Recently there is a Tesla Super-charger station in Maastricht. This fast charging location is equipped with V3 Superchargers. V3 is the latest architecture for Supercharging that enables peak charging power of up to 250 kW. In an optimal situation, a Model 3 can charge up to 120 km in five minutes.

The Supercharger location has 24 charging points (CCS) and is located at restaurant de Dwaze Herder at Slakweg 5. De Dwaze Herder is a paradise for children, including a playground and a zoo. The location is located directly on the A2 and supports travellers from and to Belgium.

A piece of history

After 2 years of waiting, the time had come. On May 1, 2022, Enexis started laying a power cable 400 meters from our car park. They drilled a hole under the ground and under the road. Once there, they made a completely new transformer box so that 24 cars can charge at the same time. After that, the installation of the piles and the repaving of the car park started. The charging station has been operational since 1-7-2022. Both Tesla and other brands can charge cars. Our location along the motorway makes it a perfect location for cars going to Ardennes, northern France, southern France and Spain or vice versa. Of course, it is also a central place for local motorists. There are currently negotiations with other partners to see if we can make the world even greener.
